Side-Car Academy for Batch 5? #207

I'm starting the debate on whether we are planning on having a side-car academy this year.

What are your thoughts on this?

Jumpin on this issue, @minhhoang1023 If the sidecar is to happen, we'll need to spread some awareness over on social media. I would say after admissions is best for those who didn't manage to pass the exam. Therefore, I would need to plan something around mid-June!

@cimendes This should be decided before then. I already talked with Vitor, and need to talk with Gonçalo - another co-organizer.

I agree with @cimendes suggestion but I would put it a bit earlier - a bit before mid-June to allow time for the rest of marketing to happen. It makes sense that we announce it after admissions. However, we need to have a bit of time between the end of the admission process and the start of the academy to fully announce it.

I'd add to what Ines mentioned, that we should also promote it with those that failed the admission process. And that can take, more or less, 2 weeks. That's what I would say.

It will happen this year! I found a good student from the Academy to lead the technical part - Still need to confirm the date regarding the course
