Do we need to have a sync meeting about syncing with Marketing and Comms AOR (comms calendar) @thecarolmartins @dominguezmaria
@dominguezmaria can you confirm this is the final list for OKRs of Admissions? I should put them soon on the Wiki. ☺️
@cimendes @dominguezmaria - I don't think there's anything else to sync, however, we'll review everything.
@dominguezmaria there are still minor details in the email communications that need to be checked by you. What's the status of the portal copy? Do you still want me to review it?
Can we close this? I'ts been more than 6 months now.
Objective 1: The set of batch 5 students is not biased towards males with solid engineering background.
KR1: We have at least 50% success rate on the coding test for applicants who’ve completed the prep course (final project included).
Objective 2: The admissions process for batch 6 can be led by anyone.
KR1: We’ve written thorough documentation about the admissions process, together with learnings and improvement suggestions from the batch 5 iteration that can be used to improve the next one. KR2: The copy in the admissions portal doesn’t refer to a specific batch, and doesn’t have hard coded information that is batch specific. This KR requires collaboration with DevOps.
Objective 3: Minimise applicant questions (which are often avoidable and a source of operational overhead) and, in most of the cases, be able to reply to applicant questions with a link to the admissions documentation .
KR1: The emails sent by admissions@lisbondatascience.org are generally not flagged as spam. KR2: The copy of the portal and emails is reviewed by new eyes (Marketing and QA) to be proven clear and complete. KR3: The documentation in the wiki about admissions is clear and complete, and includes a section with relevant FAQs. KR4: We share the admissions documentation where it’s relevant: admissions portal, marketing comms, website, prep course slack. This KR requires collaboration with Marketing and Prep Course.
