Bundling libraries and example sketches with the hardware package has several benefits:
Simplifies installation
Simplifies updates
Libraries will only be accessible when compiling for a Larduino_HSP board
Avoids conflicts when the user already has a library with the same folder name installed in their sketchbook
Examples only show in the File > Examples menu when a Larduino_HSP board is selected
Examples are displayed grouped together under a Examples for {board name} section of the File > Examples menu
I put the contents of the sketches folder in a dummy library so they would appear under the File > Examples menu after installing the Larduino_HSP package.
