This is not a feature I would have contemplated building into an end user system from my experience, as most systems I've built are delivered to a front line support staff who would have access to such logs and be able to make an initial diagnosis, possibly work around things, then escalate to us as necessary.
In this case, though, the Admin users would not be server system admin types at all, so they'd be likely to fumble accessing such information through typical means to be able to provide an initial diagnosis, or at least be able to relate what is happening, so I didn't think of it until now.
Maybe devs would benefit from it themselves
to be able to browse/search the text of the log from within the Admin tool
for authorized users to be able to read the system log to be able to diagnose problems without needing remote credentials
