if no study loaded we can use the GUI, working directory and load channel must be back
Expected behavior
some behaviour as before
Experimental/study context
scripting it all in integration test and then try to use the GUI bugs - we also can't expect people to use default directory name
-- .fig has some button back
-- need to recode what was there before
