Messy fix but it works. Time Slider has to update its aria-label every second

NEW ISSUE:

CC labels are in English

Time slider: Curseur de temps – partially ok (curseur de temps, left right slider, zéro heures, to increase or decrease use the arrow keys )

Mute button Mute – change to French term (note that it announces Mute, boutton sourdine, to activate press enter)

Volume slider: Curseur de volume – partially ok (curseur de volume, left right slider, quatre-vingt pourcent, to increase or decrease use the arrow keys)

There might be another issue (same as in the previous issue). All the buttons are decorative images. I’m not sure if the alt text for those images is announced by a screen reader, but the alt text is in English.

In Edge and Chrome, for each of the buttons JAWS announces the following:

CC button: Caption barre oblique subtitles, to activate press enter – Not good, This is seems to be English plus the instructions

Play button: Jouer button, to activate press enter – OK other than instructions

Time slider: Time slider, left right slider, zéro heures, to increase or decrease use the arrow keys – not good – plus instructions

Full screen button: Plein écran boutton, to activate press enter – OK other than instructions

Mute button: Mute button, sourdine, to activate press enter – partially OK (some words and the instructions are in English)

Volume slider: Curseur de volume, left right slider, quatre-vingt pourcent, to increase or decrease use the arrow keys – partially ok other than instructions

In IE11, JAWS announces all the buttons using English words with a French accent.

There might be another issue (same as in the previous issue). All the buttons are decorative images. The alt text for those images is in English. While testing it didn’t seem like the alt text is announced by JAWS.
