1. What is your project? (max 100 words)

This is going to be the launch of the Litentry LIT community in the city of Warri, Nigeria. Where we will have web3 developers gather to share experience, discuss ideas, and possible projects that can be built on the litentry protocol. The goal of this project is to organize meetups and community activities to promote the advancement of the Lit protocol and ecosystem. We will have speakers and facilitators that will educate participants about the Litentry blockchain. My intention is to have this event done on July 4th, 2023 in the city of Warri, Nigeria and we hope to have 100 persons minimum in attendance.

2. How is Lit used for this project? (max 100 words)

Various key topics on Lit Protocol will be looked into and discussed as it will aid web3 developers to develop projects. This will include comprehensive study of the Lit Protocol Developer Doc. and its applications on web3 projects.

3. How will you improve your project with this grant? What steps will you take to meet this objective? (max 200 words)

  1. Start a Lit Nigeria community of web3 developers and enthusiasts from the city of Warri.
  2. Organize Lit Hackathon for web3 developers during the launch event, with the goal of building projects on Lit.
  3. Promote the Lit community activities on social media.
  4. Organize workshops and trainings for the Lit community members in the future with support from the Lit Protocol.
  5. Do whatever it takes to improve on the Lit community and ecosystem at large after launch.

4. Is this project open source?

These events are open to all persons to attend irrespective of sex, tribe, skill sets, race and religion. Please note that photos of events will be shared online with link sent to the appropriate quarter.

5. Do you agree to share grant reports upon request, including a final grant report at the end of the two month period?

Detailed report will be send to the grant as requested and a final report at the end of the two periods.
