The other day I was playing around with placing an XC9572XL-10VQ64C in between the rows of a DIP40 socket, and ended up with something like this:
Not sure if it could work for your Bluster design, but if possible it could reduce the size of the PCB a little.
Thanks, I should probably do that - the current design I did was pure laziness and wanting to get something I could test quickly but it could be smaller :)
