If a host-code sees an error code of 1 return from tribol, they may decide to error out.
We may not want to error out for what might be a single face-pair geometry issue/error/bug
There are reasons we may want to keep the contact physics going, even if there are some issues, such that other physics can be investigated in a given simulation etc.
Consider finer granularity in error codes, where some integer return values are simply warnings?
