The table db.mf_newforms currently contains trace_hashes (stored in the column trace_hash) for every newform in the database with level bounded by 10000 and dimension bounded by 20 except for 1385 non-dihedral weight-1 forms. It would be nice to add these if/when we can (the easiest way to do this might be via the corresponding Artin representations, if/when they are added to the LMFDB).
The "trace hash" referred to here is defined in Section 4.3 of BSSVY and is also present for all elliptic curves and genus 2 curves over Q.
