X-Y Pad Waveform Enhancement #1994

The idea is to add a X-Y Pad Waveform Drawler to, Waveshaper, Vibed, BitInvader, dynamics processor and add this to any other plugins like them, because right now to drawl waves shapes on those plugins you have to use the mouse pointer. Why a X-Y Pad Waveform Drawler is good, it's for those who have a midi keyboard with a X-Y Pad and or X-Y pad midi controller ie, you can Assign the Waveform Drawler to it. This would also help with touch screen monitor, touch screen laptops and tablets.. Nothing else will change in the plugins. The lock button will lock the X-Y Pad in place until you unlock it, the Drawling point is turned off when the X-Y Pad is locked. By default the X-Y Pad is locked.

Not sure how useful this will be, considering midi keyboards with XY pads are pretty rare.

Like what @Umcaruje said, your proposed feature will only be useful for users with MIDI controllers/keyboards with X-Y pads, and those users are a minority, and I don't think they would even use it to draw shapes.

I can't understand how your proposed feature would help touch screens or monitors users. Touching and dragging in touch screens and monitors is the same as clicking and dragging in computers.

However, your proposal gave me the idea about an X-Y (and probably Z) controller that is built in LMMS and can be added from the controller rack like the the other controllers, but this is for another issue. :)

And by the way, I'm sure you mean "draw" by "drawl" and "drawer" by "drawler". ;)
