This save preset as WAV function will be very useful .so that many intresting sounds we get after pressing randomiser button should be exported in WAV. For both lmms native & third party instruments.

? thats just an recording. Its planned inside LMMS -soon, and not difficult to use Audacity for now. Cant see any need

What's the advantage of saving the preset as a sample rather than a normal preset? A normal preset allows you to easily tweak the sound later, and will most likely provide better quality sound at other pitches compared to pitch-shifting the sample. If you really want to do this, however, you can just put your instrument and a note into a project and export it.

the tip you shared use many users but its time consuming . If this Function is introduced can be usefull for 1.That Sample can be played Reversed in our sampler. 2.Zynaddsubfx is great instrument yet users can't apply Pitch bender , glisando etc to its melody in today's lmms version.if its preset can be exported in wav,ogg quickly then all pithch bender , glide etc can be utilised.

  1. Same for millions of third party VST instruments. As current lmms version doesn't support Pitch bender etc fot vsti. 4.C64,SFXr create unique sounds each time we press Random button. exporting them in wav,ogg in one click , we get advantage of playing it reverse .

but its time consuming

Marginally more than using a dedicated editor Im sure that when (soon)ish LMMS does get sound recording implemented, the next step will be ways to edit the clips -Have to, because the will click if they are not precisely cut, but in essence i feel you ask for the freeze-feature to be reintroduced. freeze did create a wave-sample of the instrument-output. Imo either export as tracks or internal recording with Audacity covers this, until real recording inside LMMS is implemented

Sir , what exactly I demanded is very clear. you also know it .my intention is to suggest an enhancement which are easy to compile and no other DAW has it. . We must include such functions in LMMS no other DAWmaker can even dreamt about.

@CaBachhav I suspect you are new to LMMS. I hasten to inform you that not all users ' wishes are fulfilled here. In most of cases, the LMMS team sees development ways not like users see it. Not soon yet LMMS become like FL studio. It's a hard work but it's moving ahead. I hope to see somewhen as many of user requests will be implemented.
