Please distinguish the black key and white key in piano roll. #5959

If you need to see only notes from your gamma, there is gama highlighting in Piano Roll.

There's a green highlight line where the mouse cursor is, having fixed marks on every sharp key is totally unnecessary, but if you really want it:

Go to the ComboBox that says "No scale", select "Major", right click any C key and click "Mark current scale". Done!

I know lots of DAWs do have this ad shading of the piano-roll. LMMS has used this shading-option to implement scale-marking, witch is a way more useful feature! If LMMS should have some kind of visual difference between whole and half-step-notes in all scales, not only CMaj/aMin, it would need to be color difference of the actual notes! I am afraid that is would look 'messy', especially because color difference-'notes' are being considered for slide-notes, where that feature would be much more valuable. So shortly, and based on above argumentation: I dont support colour-difference between whole and half-step-notes in all scales.
