My Vst's wont load #6919

Bug Summary

I had made some beats a while ago and hadn't touched them now some vst's wont load and when i export a beat it doesn;t work properly either

Steps to reproduce

i really have no idea what happened

Expected behavior

normally the vst's would load and i could hear them in my beats but thats not the case

Actual behavior

the beat plays without the vsts and when i export i cant even listen to the track

Do the VST DLLs still exist at their original locations?

Could be related to #6408

It's not. They're on windows.

There's an ongoing issue where x64 bit VSTs simply crash and fail to load. I'm currently looking into it, but I believe x32 bit versions of the same VSTs would work.

Experiencing this right now, not sure what caused it. I was successfully using a couple of VSTs previously, but they no longer load. I checked the docs and tried what it suggested (Edit > Settings > Misc, and Disable Sync VST plugins to host playback) but the VSTs still won't load. I upgraded from Linux Mint 21.3 to Linux Mint 22 when it released, perhaps some wine dependency broke?
