Enhancement Summary

New settings that automatically sets interpolation method It automatically uses "linear", but because of what's happened to that interpolation method, I recommend just adding a setting that lets the user pick the interpolation method

It would be great because

• You wouldn't have to change them each 1 by 1. New AFP plugins will follow the settings, and pick the default interpolation method (convenience)
• You can choose whether you prefer quality, of performance

Implementation Details / Mockup

It'll just be in settings -> performance -> AFP default interpolation method

you can choose between, sinc, linear, or none

I reverted the PR, so the linear mode should be fixed now, though this addition might still have merit.

Can't you just save a preset with the desired configuration? Perhaps it would be worth being able to save default instrument presets, like you can with the default project template, but I don't think the settings dialog is the right place for this option.
