Feature Request: BPM tag added at export for easier DJ-ing #949

If LMMS could write down the initial tempo BPM value to output file tags in format:

name:"BPM", value:"140" etc.

It'd make life easier for DJing my LMMS tracks with Mixxx.

It'd solve two problems I have with Mixxx's tempo analysis:

  1. It detects 140 as 70 and 180 as 90 BPM etc.
  2. It doesn't calculate integer values like 140, 170, but some strange fractions like 89,32403 etc.

If LMMS wrote this tag down, it'd save me a ton of time while preparing my DJ Set.

I think this request should sound more like this: "Option to write more metadata than filename". There are a lot of data you can save with your song; Artist name, Album name, Track number, Year, Genre, Software, Comments... Currently LMMS only let you edit the filename, and then automatically adds LMMS as software in the metadata.

Yes, that would be even nicer, but that's something I can easily do after exporting, but I frequently don't remember tempos and having this neat little option would be great.

Ok, unfa... that you don't remember tempos suddenly made this enhancement less attractive for me. You can open the project and look at the tempo. Some projects have various tempos?
