Multiple Artworks #952

I tag all my albums in great detail, using MP3 tag generally. This includes adding multiple artworks. Front cover artwork, rear cover artwork and often adding any booklet materials. I might in some cases have up to 10 artworks added. Is there any chance of having LMS initially disply the front cover artwork and then scrolling through the additional artworks when an album is playing (or even in playlists if thats feasible) ?

That feature isn't available, and I'm not sure it would make it into the LMS core functionality. But this sounds like an interesting idea for my Music and Artist Information plugin...

I would assume such a fail could become pretty large (depending on the size of the artwork)?

Many thanks for the response. And the brilliant LMS plugins !!!

Shame it couldn't be added into LMS, I think it would be a great feature.

I'll drop a flac file with multiple artworks into your dropbox. I use MP3tag to do this.

I added 2 flac files. One has 2 artworks and the other (Clap..) has 10.

I support the idea of having more than one image. I have been tagging my Classical music collection and have found that the the "back cover" of the CD is often the best source for info on the Composer, work identifier, artists, soloists etc - better than what comes off MusicBrainz and friends. So far I have been doing this by using the conventional front cover image for most tracks, but adding the back cover as the image for track 2.

Oops... I never responded to this issue. Sorry about that. I hope you've found a way to use those files with MAI? You could drop those files in the album folders and get them from there.
