3 years ago Has the transaction been confirmed at the point when you tried to open a new channel? Does it work now if you try it again?

3 years ago The balance showed as confirmed at the time, but yes it did work later when it had more confirmations (12). I get the impression that on chain transactions need more than 6 confirmations. I've since made some more transactions and set up another channel without any problems, but now I've found I can't sign a message:

Hi, sorry if this has been asked before, but I can't open a channel with 20000 sats because, it says, the funder balance is too small, even though I have a balance of 100000 sats. It worked before with just a 40000 balance. I'm running it on my own node, set up following ION Lightning Network Wiki's instructions. No idea what's gone wrong, it worked, now it doesn't. How do I fix it?
