According to what apple said, the Adaptive Audio could have used machine-learning unique to newer iOS, and it would be tough if that is true, but, who knows, let's see when it comes.

I think the "machine learning" takes place in the AirPods themselves, not the phone.. so it shouldn’t be specific to ios version right? But I’m sure they’ll limit it to iOS17 anyway
