Useful Diagnostic Figures? #1

Closed cavestruz closed 6 years ago

Hi all,

I started a notebook with some preliminary diagnostic figures (e.g. the subsampled footprint just plotting ra and dec, the distribution of magnitudes and fluxes for aperture10). I'd be happy to extend this to whatever people might find most useful. Let me know. @damonge @slosar

I would highly recommend using cmodel magnitudes/fluxes rather than aperture magnitudes/fluxes. They are the most meaningful and highest S/N measure of cmodel photometry in most cases.

Thanks for the feedback! Just modified current figures to the cmodel values.

Great, @cavestruz thanks a lot for getting things started!
