Issues arising from community discussion of `jupyter-dev` #74

@jbkalmbach @richardxdubois @SimonKrughoff I just posted Bryce's notes on using jupyter-dev at NERSC to community.lsst.org here:

https://community.lsst.org/t/analyzing-lsst-desc-twinkles-data-at-nersc-via-remote-jupyter-notebooks/1533

We can use this thread to collect and discuss any issues arising from that discussion. Or, just close it once we find no-one is interested! :-)

Update from today's meeting: Currently looking into Vizic: https://arxiv.org/abs/1701.01222. Requires MongoDB and Python 3 both of which are possible to set up. Will update more when I try an example notebook and get it running. Also want to know more about how hard it is to create one's own widgets.
