Run a cluster abundance analysis, using Skysim halos (i.e. no need for a selection function) and a mass-richness relation.

GitHub repo: https://github.com/LSSTDESC/CLCosmo_Sim
In-person/Virtual/Hybrid: Hybrid, room ERC 445 for in-person
Zoom room (if applicable): DESC CL zoom
Goals and deliverable
The goal is to get sigma8-Omega_m contours by running a cluster count analysis on cosmoDC2/SkySim halos, using a mass-richness relation, where the "richness" is simply the member counts in the halos (no need for a cluster finder or selection function).
Depending on the number and interest of the sprinters, we can do so
(a) either using the standalone modules provided by @payerne in the CLCosmo_Sim repo (i.e. those CCL-based modules + e.g., emcee for the MCMC)
(b) and/or developing the necessary elements to do the same thing interfacing with DESC tools (i.e. SACC, FireCrown, TJPCov (although might be a bit early for this, see #12 ))
Resources and skills needed
software, skills:
Python
for (b) any experience with SACC, FireCrown would be useful. Having the relevant software installed before the sprint would also be good.
@tguillemLSST has provided us with a parametrization of the SkySim/cosmoDC2 mass-"richness" relation (where richness is defined as above), that we can use for that project.
