Detailed description

[This note/paper will summarize past, ongoing and planned work and discussions in DESC about IA. Some of the draft has been written following previous DESC sprints or meetings. We will try to make significant progress/almost finish the draft.]

Due to other sprints and also to the extensive DESC TJP project review and update sprint, this IA sprint will have to be rescheduled for the weeks to follow within TJP activities.
