Detailed description

[Implementation was completed and functionality was tested to work -- Jupyter notebook examples were provided in branch. Need to finalize code cleaning, benchmarking, and documentation in order to review and merge PR.]

progress made on cleaning the code.

progress also made on identifying benchmarks from ISiTGR for redshift and scale dependence.

This will continue this week-end and next week to finish these objectives.
