There are several open issues related to correlation functions in CCL, especially regarding the use of generalized Pk for 3d correlation functions.

Sprinted on this with @Andromedanita with input from @c-d-leonard and @EiffL .

We have solved the documentation issue (https://github.com/LSSTDESC/CCL/issues/744). A PR has been opened.
We understand what to do to allow more general bessel transforms (e.g. for w_p(r_p).) Implementation must be finished. (https://github.com/LSSTDESC/CCL/issues/219)
We know how to allow for general Pk -> xi(r) transforms. We are still discussing whether we need two methods to do this, instead of using the generic Pk in the cosmo object. https://github.com/LSSTDESC/CCL/issues/815
