Cosmology dependency of Bias Corrections in BBC

We are developing infrastructure to account for the cosmology dependency of simulated bias correction.

Contacts: Vivian Miranda and Rick Kessler Day/Time: every day 3 pm Arizona time Main communication channel: desc-snana-sims channel on slack GitHub repo: github.com/BBCLike/CosmoMCBBC

Goals and deliverable

A likelihood code in CosmoMC that will be the base for testing and porting our algorithm to Firecrown

Resources and skills needed

Fortran 2003 code skills

Detailed description

The SN likelihood requires bias corrections that are determined with a fixed cosmology. We are developing infrastructure to account for the cosmology dependency of simulated bias correction. First, we are going to test our proposed algorithm on CosmoMC (simpler codebase) and then port to firecrown

Is this effort related in any way to #30? Should it be?

RickKessler commented 3 years ago

This effort is focussed on improving the SN likelihood, so I think it is complementary to #30, but not overlapping.
