See: https://github.com/LSSTDESC/desc-help/issues/89 Until TD moves off w_2022_10, we will use the NERSC root module. After that we can consider using conda-forge root_base

After more investigation mamba install -c conda-forge root_base is compatible with LSST Sci Pipelines w_2022_10.
root_base is now included with the pre-release of v0.0.4
