This will be included in 1.1.0.0.

This feature was added as part of the firmware overhaul to store device channels in the firmware rather than in LV configs. This should make it easier for others to add device support without LV.

While this is indeed in 1.1a, 1.1 will probably never get a public release. This feature will be included in 1.2.
