/top appears to make peope more likely to "spam" kill new players. #769

I often play undercover however notice a somewhat worrying switch since top is inroduced: As a new unregistered player I get shot very often while only just driving around.

Such a players are an easy stats farm for the players who want themselves or there gangs to be on top of the /top list. I think we should find ways to keep those new players around instead of chasing them away by keep on killing them.

My suggestion here is to do not count the kills on and from players who are no regulars. Also including some sort of message once every xx kills mentioning that those are new players and requesting to take this into account (and informing they won't recieve any stats from those players)

Maybe there's some other ideas on how to make it easier for new players to get into LVP and slowly learn how to use our commands, how to shoot there weapons and how to interact with other players. Please do take into account quite some of those players are +- 12~15 years old with sometimes knowing only a few words english.

Perhaps if they want their kill stats to be resetted, and if the reason is convincing all they have to do is ask you guys right? And your tp modification could solve this issue .

Hey Specifer,

It's not about the stats of the new players. They're often not registered anyway. It's about there first experience on LVP, which should be enjoyable so they wish to come more often.

This was a topic I saw a couple of times in the past that never went anywhere if not mistaken. And people were not in favor of dividing the players and the new players didn't get the proper attention either afterward.

Disallow regular player kills made to un-registered players and newly registered players:? Teleportation restriction :?

The issue remains that regular players can still locate and hunt new players who sometimes have no interest in fighting nor can.
