POP OS, When I inject it says it's succesful but it's not. #645

The game temporarily freezes like it is interacting with it but nothing actually happens.

I've tried to run the command using sudo but still issues.

you either have library name collision (just rebuild) or your steam and/or csgo is running inside a container like snap or firejail, it sounds like you have the second.

How is it rude? People ask for help but don't help others to help them out. They expect people to know what problem they're having when not much info is given.

it's a pretty common problem so i answered with a pretty common answer. with "no logs, no help" you're not really helping the issue, it would have been better to ask for specific logs that you need and provide the way to obtain these logs. i might have been a bit rude myself, your answer was just the first thing that i saw when i woke up.

if you want to continue the conversation it would be better to move over to gitter :)

Alright, I switched from the Steam snap to the .deb. Now when I inject the game crashes. I guess this is progress lol. Also where exactly can I find the logs for trouble shooting? Also it it recommended to inject as sudo?

Also, I disabled precaching.

./build-debug ./debug continue a few times until the breakpoint is inside game binary or cheat binary, not nanosleep or something similar from system libs backtrace

sudo is not necessary, script uses sudo anyway

doesn't crash and doesn't inject with deb steam? weird.

Cannot find user-level thread for LWP 5861: generic error looks odd but i don't remember if that's normal or not.

try using gdb from #621

Interesting, same issues 3 of our shitbuntu users are also having over on seksea/gamesneeze. Mind sending the output from cat /etc/os-release and uname -a? (you can redact your name from the outputs from them too if you care) All Shitbuntu users that had this issue were on 20.04 LTS. @Arcane-Cube if you aren't OP's alt, I'd appreciate these from you too.
