I was casually trying this cheat out on an alt, i went to play some other game in my main, and accidentally used cheats on my main, only injected, quit the match and came back without cheats - so, am i getting VAC'd?

And while I'm here, what are the chances my alt gets banned, I'm thinking of buying prime, but i don't want to if I'm get banned since i don't have lots of money

Is there any way to make its so steam cant detect it at all, i saw a post from 2017 saying you need to compile it yourself, I've done that already, is that enough so overwatch is my only issue?

recompile just to be safe. I haven't had much issues with vac specifically but with overwatch + vacnet or something that prioritizes you in ow

basically if you're not banned within a week then you're likely fine

I actually recently looked into Linux vac. Actually most modules are being loaded really late. I only captured 2 of the 4 explained on lwss' blog. And one of them took a good amount of time before appearing (e. g. Going full semi rage and playing like 20 rounds). There might be one more which I couldn't capture because it wasn't a new account so the hwid module wasn't loaded because they knew that info already but here is what I know rn. I was able to capture following 4 modules: A module which sends /proc maps to valve A module which sends /proc cwd and so on (already explained on lwss' blog) I expect an hwid module to be present which is only loaded on new accounts or after the last load is a good amount of time ago. And then I was able to capture 2 other modules which are unknown. Those may be false positives of vac-dumper (vaclog wouldn't compile for me) Both seem to do a lot of pointer magic and have no strings inside.

So in conclusion no probably you are fine. (tho I'm not responsible for anything)

Vac is able to detect you but they don't seem to ban or care for you

Overwatch + VACnet is only detecting playstyle related things. Means they detect you being obvious not you having a cheat loaded. But Valve used to hide vac bans as overwatch ones
