Keyboard is "working", and pushes info over uart. Use a 4-pin header: gnd, rx-tx-pwr on the gnd, 44, 43, 1 pins respectively then use something like picocom listening with 115200 baud to read the output. it's not left-aligned, but you can at least capture the logs.
