truncate student audio recording from start #16

Not sure if this is actually a single "issue" or actually more of an "epic" like how to do this? maybe something like:

  1. design the gui
  2. POC of the functionality/research plugins/author custom code to do it
  3. implent the gui
  4. proper implementation of functionality

  1. current gui + UX is user clicks + drags on waveform to form a highlighted region
  2. Functioning in my branch named "DAW" 3/4. GUI is done and functionality is there.
