current operation

coolant (distilled water) has visible contamination with bugs & other debris, and has some antifreeze mixed in.

desired/expected operation

Coolant is only distilled water (or another approved coolant for both the laser tube and the chiller).

Possibly antifreeze, eg propylene glycol in some combination with distilled water, as temperatures drop.

steps for resolution

use fine mesh sieve (eg small aquarium sieve) to remove visible debris from chiller tank
connect outbound hose from system to drain away from house; set drain hose outlet below elevation of chiller tank to establish siphon
run hose with flow control valve into chiller
run chiller to flush, adjusting flow control to maintain water level
run until clear
allow siphon effect to drain chiller
refill with 1.5gal distilled water

I've acquired the needed tubing. And additional distilled water.

I marked this issue as a "bug" because the water is now slimy from having bugs in it.
