Soil Moisture Sensor - irregular values #2

Soil moisture measured 1.8.2023:

Adafruit Stemma Soil Sensor is giving high (seeming) flucutation values. Below is 24 h moisture cycle of a potted plant (watered around 16:40). Values were measured minutely which explains the sheer mass of data points.

24 hour soil moisture cycle (measurements taken each 15 minutes), 3.8.2023:

Values range between 860 and 980 NO WATERING

Watered plant at 8.56 (might have to detract hour on Raspberry Pi time), 4.8.2023, ranges creep into 900s:

This seems to be a common Adafruit Stemma soil sensor issue: https://forums.adafruit.com/viewtopic.php?t=174914

Potentially, new soil sensor needs to be used - or high fluctuations adapted to somehow
