Connect to Redis via Shared memory segment #499

Hi.

I'm using windows in my production environment, And cannot use unix domain 
sockets to connect to redix.

I wonder if there is a plan to implement connection to Redis via shared memory 
segment, Oracle using it with their IMDB - TimesTen.

There are no plans for shared mem or named pipes in near future.

And Windows is not a supported platform.
