Splashes texture is black #90

Whenever an entity falls into water, the splashes are black for some reason.

For me they are only black when using a shader like Continuum. On BSL they look fine, so I don't think this is a 'Effective' problem:

With BSL shaders bsl

I also have this issue, but not with waterfalls, instead it is with the water impact of items and the player (me) I have this issue regardless if I am using a shader or not.

Now my only question is why what looks like a perfectly good PR hasn't been merged yet, but maybe there's reasons I'm unaware of.
