Atlan not throwable after Sincere Loyalty and Riptide

Atlan was throwing just fine, but putting riptide on it prevents me from throwing the thing now. I understand they're meant to be incompatible enchants, but the description of this mod says that riptide can go on a trident after sincere loyalty. I guess I'm just confused as to why I'm told they can both go on my trident, but not both work?

I think it`s intended, sincere loyalty let´s you recall tridents when out of inventory by holding right click, so by doing this, now you can recall your trident when dropped or when inside another player´s inventory, but instead of throwing it, you can only riptide
