I have the Backlight T2 and the official Home-assistant Govee-BLE doesn't recognize it.

Does this integration support it?

I would need on/off to put it in an automation.

The T2 shows up in Home Assistant when using this plugin. I haven't tested it extensively, but basic on/off functionality and setting a color works.

If you have a Movie DreamView set up in Govee, turning on the T2 via hacs-govee will restore the DreamView and any member lights and turning it off will return the lights back to their original state.

T2 Power on and off works fine. I am already using it a couple of weeks in an automation when TV turns on/off. No issues until now.

I'm using it as well, the only problem is you can't change between modes... https://github.com/LaggAt/hacs-govee/issues/85 https://github.com/LaggAt/hacs-govee/issues/38

might be able to if they ever finished https://github.com/LaggAt/hacs-govee/issues/17

Just reporting back, this integration does work and shows my backlight T2 as a light entity, I can turn it on and off, and also set 1 color for the entire strip.

I couldn't find effects, or how to set multiple colors.

The integration has some delay, after any interaction, it takes some time to show the updated state of the light, might be because of Govee's API rate limits.

@carlos-algm the same here. I think that BLE integration should works better but official govee ble integration not support this device, only temp sensors :/

Is anyone having an issue with the brightness? I set up an automation today to turn on the T2 when my TV turns on with a brightness of 35%. However, it comes on at 88%. I then changed the automation to turn it on at 10% and got 32% when it came on. Not sure how that works or if I messed up a config somewhere.
