Robot characterization... what is the free speed of the robot, how much can it accelerate etc... need to define these clearly... note that there is cross-over with some robot tasks, but could make a lab out of it. Would end up with something which helps us define how much we can drive the robot so we do not accidentally create paths which are unattainable by the robot.
