First may i say that i lik this app. and it has a alot of potencial.
I first used the app. and was able to set my G1 as the server and access
it from my computer. I was able to view and open my G1 sd files and import
then to the computer but unable to send files in reverse.
I have fixed that usin SmartFTP software, which is simple to use, on my p.c
so i can now download and upload and manipulate files over wifi so o can
quickly update and sync my G1 wirelessly.
What i would now like to do is be able to access my p.c files from my G1.
So i could link up as now but view my p.c file structure and control any
file transfer or manipulation from there. I am sure this is possible but
am having a brain overload moment and would appreciate any advice
available.
Thankyou. for the app. please coninue with it as i think it has potential
to improve on thegood app. it already is.
I can be contacted on mickcaulton@gmail.com

Mick, thanks for your kind words, and I'm glad you like the program.

The functionality described would be provided by an FTP client, which is really
outside the scope of what SwiFTP is trying to accomplish. I recommend the
excellent
free app named AndFTP, which would fulfill this need.

Essentially, to access the files on your PC from your G1, you'll want to set up
an
FTP server on your computer, or figure out some other means, but SwiFTP is just
an
FTP server and cannot help you to do this.
