Unable to see folders/files with Firefox ftp://IP:PORT

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. start SwiFTP Server 1.22
2. Firefox ftp://10.0.1.2:2121
3. User Name: uname Password: passwd

What is the expected behavior? 
I'd expect that after login to see the folders and files on the sd card in
the Firefox browser.  Use to work until a recent update. The above
procedure works in IE8, Chrome and Opera.

What do you see instead?
After entering the User Name and Password in the popup dialogue... nothing.

What version of SwiFTP are you using?
1.22

What operating system are you using?
android 1.6,  windows XP, ubuntu 9.10

Which FTP client are you using?
Firefox 3.5.7

Which Android device do you have (Nexus, Droid, Hero, G1, etc.)?
HTC google ion

Stopped working in Firefox with a recent update, maybe SwiFTP 1.21 or earlier.
It DOES work in Firefox if you type ftp://uname@10.0.1.2:2121 then when
prompted enter the password, or just ftp://uname:passwd@10.0.1.2:2121.
