Invalid steps in MSS of Use Case UC01 #8

I think Step 2 under MSS should not be there since use cases mainly captures the interaction between the System and the User. Step 2 does not show any interaction between both parties, it just tells us what the System does

Team's Response

We do agree that Step 2 under MSS should not be included but this should not affect the developer from understanding what the use case is for, hence we decided to bring the severity down to VeryLow.

As stated on the website, only "purely cosmetic" flaws should be considered as severity.veryLow. In this case, the developer team has mistakenly included another step in the use case which in my opinion, is not a "purely cosmetic" flaw. Hence, it should not be considered as veryLow.

Furthermore, it does cause minor inconvenience to the readers, now readers have to think about whether Step 2 is a legit interaction between the User and the System or is it just a mistake done by the developer team. Also, now readers have to put in extra effort to check and confirm that the developer team is not saying the wrong thing/making mistakes in other use cases before they can start to believe what is written.
