I get above exception when I try using commons-logging with jmx appender
configured in log4j.xml file.

Found that log4j-1.2.15 should be in the build path.

Still I couldn't get it displayed on JConsole. Could anyone please direct me 
how to
do this?

Workaround: use version log4j-1.2.15 required for build.
