A suggestion, why not make the Copper Hopper use a comparator in it's crafting, perhaps above the chest? This would make it make a little more sense as it is "comparing" the item above it against it's inventory, and also help prevent the "sequence breaking" that occurs with the current recipe for it. By this I mean, vanilla style item sorting requires a visit to the Nether to obtain Quartz before being able to sort items. Just my two-cents of course!
