REPIT interrupted due to battery running out on Nook HD+ (ovation) #60

hi @helpme12,

this won't work unless i'm able to understand you. i can't understand your english. you'll need to write SHORT AND CORRECT SENTENCES.

what i understand:

in order to help you, i need you to add the following information to this issue:

help me my nook

I worked on the standard.

The work went well. Nook HD +'s eMMC would have worked hard

However, while I was fighting the feces, the battery of 'nook hd +' was discharged. (It is assumed that the charger output is insufficient. If the brightness was set at 10% in the recovery, this work went smoothly. I am very, very regretful, self - righteous, and impeach me. )

F UCK F UCK F * UCK

There was no mother.

Maybe it happened during expansion of the / data partition.

Immediately after this happens, I only have CWM recovery after charging the battery properly.

The / system and / cache partitions are well formatted.

However, other partitions do not do anything.

I could save this phrase. "I wish I could just take an EMMC device image and use" dd "to restore the entire device.

Formatting / data I: Formatting unknown device. W: failed to mount /dev/block/platform/omap/omap_hsmmc.1/by-name/userdata (Invalid argument) Error mounting / data! Skipping format ... Done. I: Can not partition non-vfat: datamedia I: Can not partition non-vfat: auto I: Can not format unknown volume: emmc

The state of the partitions that I tried to reformat were: / Bootdata can not mount or format / Data can not mount or format

/ Cache is fine / System is fine "

I hope you do not ignore me that you do not have a LOG file.

Let's have a conversation.

Lanchon commented 7 years ago

btw, i speak english and spanish.

helpme12 commented 7 years ago

111253706a4578 You have understood it correctly.

I will not say anything strange.

Let 's talk briefly about the work from now on.

  1. you understand is true.

  2. I removed the REPIT log. I understood it to be meaningless. am so sorry The log is being recovered. 2.1 However, the REPIT log is generated on the SD card. 2.2 SD cards are Transcend's products and can be restored with a recovery tool. 2.3 I did not use the SD card after my 'Nook HD +' became a brick. 2.4 The probability of recovery will be high. 2.5 The log has been restored. -> Then I will tell you by comment. 2.6 Fail ;;;;; OTZ What the Hxxx

  3. The REPIT version is '20161119'

  4. The battery is charging to the USB of the computer. Its battery level is 37%.

  5. I want to restore the device to a usable state.

  6. I tried formatting and recovery. Verrygreen's noMMC version is now up and works. I miss using the built-in 'eMMC'.

kernel ' 3.0.31-green+hd@hd-succulent #1 Wed Apr 2 10:44:13 CDT 2014 ' CM ver ' ovation_11.0_02APR2014_HD_SDC_NOEMMC ' Build date ' Wed Apr 2 10:26:43 CDT 2014 ' build number ' cm_ovation-userdebug 4.4.2 KVT49L 1e391d116ea test-key SELinux ' used '

  1. I first installed 'delete-backup-of-stock-rom-ovation.zip'. 7.1 Secondly, I pressed 'lanchon-repit-20161119-factory = 32M-system = 1G-cache = 32M + wipe-data = max-ovation.zip' to install. It was warm for a very long time. (0.1hour) 7.2 I went to Nook HD + to fight against feces. 7.3 Nuclear power screen was dark. He implied that he was dead.

Listen Tank you very much.

helpme12 commented 7 years ago

Leave a comment I can see that / system partition works.

When I tried to boot, the Android operating system booted up normally. But, the encrypted error screen will appear, prompting you to press any button.

Press the button on the screen to boot into TWRP recovery. And I try to reset the factory I tried without trying.

I think this script is a stupid script. If a person using CM operating system does not know how to initialize the / data, / cache partitions, will it boot?

If you know that this error will pop up /dev/block/platform/omap/omap_hsmmc.1/by-name/userdata (Invalid argument) Error mounting / data!

The / data partition of the eMMC will evaporate (it will be damaged by software) and it will not be mounted. It will not be resolved by factory reset.

At present, there are a lot of tablets in 2016 that are superior in all respects than Nook HD +.

However, the 'Nook HD +' unique display and ultra low power consumption in the standby state seem to have failed to catch up with other tablets.

I LOVE OMAP 4470

I think the OMAP 4470 is a processor with immature 'big-little' technology. The Cortex M3 dual-core processor is battery friendly and good. The performance of the Cortex A9 dual-core processor is disappointing. The combination of the Cortex A15 architecture's dual-core processor and the Cortex M3 architecture would be a great OMAP 4470.

Anyway, it is hard to get a tablet with OMAP 4470, so I hope that I can find a way to recover it with affection.

There are many hardships today. Lanchon Thank you. Please work hard.

Lanchon commented 7 years ago

hi,

i'll try one last time...

YOU NEED TO STOP TALKING. YOU NEED TO ANSWER EXACTLY WHAT I ASK, AND NOTHING MORE.

DON'T DO ANYTHING UNLESS I TELL YOU TO DO IT !!! STOP DOING RANDOM STUFF, YOU ONLY DO WHAT I TELL YOU TO, AND NOTHING MORE !!!

do you agree to these terms?

i you break these terms I WILL STOP HELPING YOU, so please don't. my time is limited and valuable to me.

what do you want me to help you with? a) you want to recover your device to a usable state. b) you want to recover your device AND ALSO RECOVER YOUR DATA PARTITION.

information about your external sdcard:

helpme12 commented 7 years ago

do you agree to these terms? -> I will agree with your proposal.

i you break these terms I WILL STOP HELPING YOU, so please don't. my time is limited and valuable to me. -> I am grateful that you have given me your time.

i you break these terms I WILL STOP HELPING YOU, so please don't. my time is limited and valuable to me. -> I'm like you. That's right.

what do you want me to help you with? a) you want to recover your device to a usable state. -> It was already available. But, I want to boot through eMMC. (I want to use 64GB SDCARD. -> My important intormation! )

b) you want to recover your device AND ALSO RECOVER YOUR DATA PARTITION. -> Yes. Well done. Please make eMMC usable. (I do not know why the / system partition is fine ...)

information about your external sdcard: 20161208_123227_hdr 20161208_123244_hdr

SD card information available for recovery. (You can buy new if you sell!) Partition format: MBR Capacity: 1910MB Unallocated space: 27MB Reserved space: 0MB

(Nothing on Windows operating system) 675MB   (Nothing on the Windows operating system) 1012MB (BOOT H :) 196MB

your external sdcard (the one that you can remove from the device) was not modified by REPIT. the REPIT log is never created on the external sdcard. i will not help you with problems that you may have with your external sdcard. if you have problems, they were NOT caused by REPIT. -> REPIT is no problem.

I had to fully charge the battery before doing this. It went well. Then the battery would have run out. (USB power supply is 2.5W ...)

But, it takes too long. I think the device is stalled.   I would like REPIT to indicate the progress of the work.

YEEESS!! TANK YOU!!

Lanchon commented 7 years ago

i still don't understand you !!! forget the external sdcard. please don't mention it again.

you still haven't told me what you want to do.

i will help you make your device boot again. (WITHOUT THE EXTERNAL SDCARD!) but your device will be wiped: data you had on your phone before will be lost.

is this ok with you?

helpme12 commented 7 years ago

I will reply briefly. I give up everything. If only NuK's eMMC is alive. The data stored in Nuke can be destroyed. Thank you very much.

Conclusion: YES

Google Translator has recently replaced it with a neural network circuit. But performance is not good.

Lanchon commented 7 years ago

don't worry, we will recover your device.

do this:

1) download REPIT for ovation to the PC: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457095661767117147 2) rename the file to: lanchon-repit-20161119-factory=32M-system=1G-cache=32M+wipe-data=max+wipe-ovation.zip 3) boot into TWRP, go to "MOUNT" menu, click "Disable MTP" once. 4) reboot TWRP, connect to PC. 5) from the PC, run this command: adb push lanchon-repit-20161119-factory=32M-system=1G-cache=32M+wipe-data=max+wipe-ovation.zip /tmp/ 6) using TWRP, flash REPIT from /tmp

7) success?

helpme12 commented 7 years ago

Okay, let's do it.

But I think it sounds like I need a log. O,o (I tried REPIT several times ..)

Thanks for your cooperation.

Lanchon commented 7 years ago

did you do what i ask? yes or no? what was the result?

helpme12 commented 7 years ago

It does not mean no! It is !! Once installed in the embedded eMMC TWRP.

12:50 -> TWRP was installed.

Lanchon commented 7 years ago

i don't understand.

did you follow the steps? what was the result?

helpme12 commented 7 years ago
  1. boot into TWRP, go to "MOUNT" menu, click "Disable MTP" once. -> TWRP is required to do this. But, I already have Verrygreen's CWM installed. So I installed TWRP. Https://notredame.app.box.com/s/26a4bygh9vbaw7jjq08xr5evomvaw5ww/1/3332706778 3.0.1.0 TWRP

17:00 I was unexpectedly vacated when I was doing my job. It is related to my survival. occupation. It is a thing to do to eat. I am sorry to have vacated my seat while helping me. (I think the translator will make a mistake. So, it is not my job to 'eat' thing.)

17:25 I have tried, but the problem occurs at number 4.

If you reboot after pressing 'Disable MTP', it seems that the TWRP settings are initialized. This is the log immediately after booting.

The computer displays 'null' and does not recognize Nook HD +. 20161209_172630_hdr

'Disable MTP' was pressed. And I did a reboot. After rebooting, it says 'Activate MTP'. Ignore it and connect it to the computer. The ADB on the computer emits a message. 20161209_175129_hdr

The computer message is like this. (We will upload soon.)

18:16 When I reboot, it floats like this. It will be reset every time you reboot. TWRP screen brightness, 'disable MTP options'

screenshot_2016-12-09-02-14-19

/ Tmp Upload everything that was on the partition. I have Notepad ++. But I can only see, I can not interpret.

tmp.zip

Lanchon commented 7 years ago

yes, TWRP configuration resets because /data is corrupted.

1) boot TWRP 2) press WIPE 3) press FORMAT DATA 4) type 'yes' 5) reboot TWRP

now do this: https://github.com/Lanchon/REPIT/issues/60#issuecomment-265758196

helpme12 commented 7 years ago

I've already tried that. But because it was not, I asked you for help. By the way, I went on a business trip. I do not have a nuke right now. I do not have a 'non-secure desktop computer' device that I can personally use to import. This is also written by smartphone from the outside for security.

helpme12 commented 7 years ago

I can not approach my nuke for two days. Do not forget me!

Lanchon commented 7 years ago

i wont be able to help you.

unless you do, i can't help you any more. i'll be waiting for logs or pics.

"I've already tried that." is not the response i need.

helpme12 commented 7 years ago

I am sorry for medium.

I'll show you the log and the screen.

ok, thanks. we'll do a different thing now.

1) download REPIT for ovation to the PC: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457095661767117147 2) rename the file to: lanchon-repit-20161119-factory=32M-system=1G-cache=32M+wipe-data=max+wipe-ovation.zip 3) copy the file to an external sdcard that works. 4) boot into TWRP. do not connect ovation to PC at any moment. 5) flash REPIT from the sdcard. it will probably fail. 6) in TWRP, go to MOUNT and unmount everything there. 7) flash REPIT again from /tmp

8) success?

helpme12 commented 7 years ago

I just read it. We will run and report the result.

People, eMMC is restored!

13:29 Wow! succeded. I'm glad this is. So I tried to record the logs of this process and leave it as a record. I took the screenshot hard, but I was so glad I forgot. forget Mounting SD card ;; (Feeling missing a historic monument?)

The result was a great success !!! EMMC works! (New partitioning ?!)

Thank you for your help so far.

How about this one? People who abandoned the use of built-in eMMC due to the "TRIM bug" at CM11. Could it be done in this way?

Many Nook HD + users I know gave up using the embedded eMMC. I'm living with an external SD card. (And it was forgotten and forgotten ..)

It is a breakthrough when it comes to reviving the dead eMMC. Nook HD + has a long and long life. (I feel the sign that the eMMC component will be running until it does not work.)

Lanchon commented 7 years ago

glad it worked! now you need to change the /data partition to F2FS if you want (it is currently ext4).

this has nothing to do with brickbug emmc. and yes, brickbug (assuming it is really brickbug) can be fixed by following a procedure similar to this one. for all i know it has never been attempted.

Lanchon commented 7 years ago

and yes lol, your nook has the new partition layout now.

helpme12 commented 7 years ago

I'm glad that I made my Nuke. I hope that everything you do will flow smoothly.

ps. The / system partition grows to 1G and is comfortable.
