Ranged weaponskills attacks double / triple attacking

Steps to reproduce

1. thf/rng with Assassin's Charge
2. Slug shot something, notice TP return
3. Pop assassin's charge
4. repeat 2

Expected behavior

Ranged weapon skills NOT double / triple attacking.

Call me crazy, but this is not supposed to happen?

It's been a long time since I played retail but I'm pretty sure ranged ws don't double, triple, or even quadruple attack.

There are mods provided by certain things that can make a multi attack ranged attack happen, but normally no. melee DA/TA traits and JAs should not affect ranged.
