Trust AI Observations #453

General Differences:

After creating a party leader has a delay on summoning trusts. Though this is often bypassed retail by changing party leader and player B can summon right away. On Canaria how ever. Player B suffers the summoning Delay As well.

Melee Trusts seemly have lower Accuracy then normal making them build TP slowly. Trion seems to have a extremely high TP gain but his enmity production seems lower then normal as Valaineral is able to pull hate off of Trion rather easily despite Trion having Advanced versions of the Basic paladin skill's.

All Black Magic: Server: All trusts with access to black magic have about a 30 second delay between casting a spell. Exception to this is Adelhield Who will ignore black magic and focus on white magic and white magic enfeebles. Retail: Magic is cycled with differing delay per trust with a average of 1 Elemental spell every 10 seconds and Black magic / White Magic Enfeebling spells mixed during the delay. Exception is Shantotto II who will Rapid cast Tier 1 Elemental Black magic spells as using Chain Cast.

Trion: Server: Royal Bash (Enhanced Shield bash) Uses TP rather then Royal Savior(enhanced Sentinel with Stone skin). Retail: Royal Savior is randomly used as a Weapon skill and grants Stone skin to Trion when used. (Consumes TP on usage)

Ayame: Server: Opens stage 1 Skill chains only depending on weapon skill of summoner previously used. Retail: Opens Highest possible Skill chains depending on weapon skill of summoner previously used.

Server: Uses TP at 1000 at any time. Retail: Holds TP usage until summoner reaches 1000 TP to Open a skill chain. If at 3000 TP will use WS regardless of Summoners current TP.

Server: Uses Meditate as soon as it is ready. Retail: Uses Meditate when summoners TP is 1000 or over and her own TP is below 1000.

Ajido-Marujido: (suffers from Black magic Delay AI error) Server: Does not cast cure i-iv. Dispel or Auto attack with Mammet type Attacks. Retail: Casts Tiered Nukes based on Foes HP. Prioritizes Dispel over other spells.

Shantotto II: Server: Does not have access to her Weapon skills: Empirical Research (Fragmentation) Doctor's Orders (Gravitation) Final Exam (Fusion) Lesson in Pain (Scission, Distortion) Retail: Able to gain and us TP for skill chaining and magic bursting when applicable.

Server: Has no seeable auto attack. Retail: has 100% accuracy type-less physical long range auto attack.

Server: Uses black magic Enfeebling randomly (poison / Bio / blind). Retail: Has no access other then the 6 primary elemental Tier 1 spells.

Lion II: Sever: No observed weapon skill or magic usage. (Just auto attacks. No observed triple attack) Retail: Access to 4 unique weapon skills. 2 spells Utsusemi Ichi / Ni. Triple Attacks at a decent rate.

Zied II: Server: Seeming has 70% Double attack rate. Low delay and possibly Zanshin. Retail: Rather slow but powerful hitting Double Attack is around 40%

(Despite issues with black magic on Black mage types. Zieds Stun AI / Delay Seems about right.)

Adelheid: Server: Often refuses to use any black magic type spells. Retail: Will use Helice, Storm spells, Stun and Elemental Magic up to tier V. (Apururu's note. She often acts as if she is on the same AI as Kupipi and throw out the same spells as her, including but not limited to slow, paralyze., and DIa)

Generally, Ayame uses the opener for the highest tier chain she knows she can open with the last WS you used.

And therein lies the rub... she is not aware of some chains.

Ran into this with club a while back before everything got put on a pause. She was not aware of a Fusion chain that closes with clubs.

Forget what the exact chain was... think it was either True Strike or Judgment closer (was when I was doing a club trial). I could use one of the -shaker club skills to set her up to open impaction or something that triggered her to use an appropriate opener, but then closed it differently to make Fusion.

So the combination was valid, she just was not aware of it.

Once higher level club and staff WS were learned to close light and darkness, I could make her switch between Kasha and Gekko when needed for opening the desired element. Same goes for some tier 2 chains.

On NIN right now, when first called, she will use Kasha until I prompt her with Ten to switch to Gekko so I can start closing Darkness.

The catch is she needs to know the higher tier chain's combination to pick the appropriate opener.

It also presents a problem when ther is NO chain available for the last WS you used.

For example, the straight MP recovery ones, like Spirit Taker or Moonlight/Starlight.

There are no chains to be made with them, so she does not get assigned an opener to use, and just holds TP until you use something she can make a chain with.

Shantotto II: on retail her melee counts as magic damage not physical. I love watching her slap around mobs that just used invincible, pull hate and nearly die...
