RIC slow to load #86

It appears to take 10-20 seconds to load for new users. Is this a shiny server issue? Can you check with Ken on ways to speed this up?

Also, could you please check with Darren on the status of RShiny?

Email conversations have been started for both. I'll update this thread with relevant info once I have it.

Word from Darren is that they're working on getting a professional license for shinyapps.io. But that's going through NMSU and the purchase request has been awaiting final approval in the NMSU contracts department for about three months now. He'll let us know as soon as there's any forward motion.
