Fatal Error #25

While trying to run update.php, saw a bunch of deprecation warnings:

The deprecation warnings are annoying, but the syntax error is concerning.

reverted dd77013b169a8c8577ac511bce15066c363cd374 to see if that fixes it.

Automated updates appear to have broken php-fpm. Turned that back on, and things went away. Hoping @jerrac can fix in #26
